Joey Kramer, the drummer for the band Aerosmith, is reportedly suffering heart complications, leading the group to cancel at least one show this week.
A source told TMZ that the 64-year-old is expected to undergo heart surgery but that news could not be confirmed.
"Due to illness, Aerosmith has been forced to cancel the Let Rock Rule tour date on Aug. 13 at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, California. The band regrets not being able to
perform for their fans," said a message on Aerosmith's website.

Aerosmith did not specifically mention Kramer's condition when it made the announcement about the cancellation on Facebook.
"To my eyes and ears, Kramer seemed to be in fine shape at the Xfinity Center last month during a monster, two-hour show,"
Jed Gottieb of the Boston Herald wrote on Wednesday. "No word on the future of the tour, but I'd guess they'll pull in a replacement drummer as the band is booked through September."
The band is still scheduled to perform Saturday in Washington state but TMZ's source said that concert will likely also be canceled. Other upcoming dates on Aerosmith's schedule include a concert at the Pepsi Center in Denver on Aug. 19, the American Airlines Center in Dallas on Aug. 22, and The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas, on Aug. 25.
Kramer has been Aerosmith's drummer since the band's formation in 1970 when he reconnected with friend and frontman Steven Tyler.
Kramer and Aerosmith were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001. The group has sold more than 150 million albums and won four Grammy Awards and 10 MTV Video Music Awards.
