Experts are predicting "a recession unlike any other" as the coronavirus epidemic continues to spread, slowing down the U.S. economy, as MarketWatch reported Thursday.

Millions have lost their jobs but certain industries appear to be bulletproof in the face of a recession, as highlighted by GOBankingRates. Here we look at 10 of those:

1. Budget Analyst

  • Median annual wage: $76,220 

Demand for Budget analysts, who provide financial advice to public institutions, is expected to grow. Should a recession strike, governments will still need help managing funds.
