Jinger Duggar married soccer player Jeremy Vuolo on Saturday in a ceremony at the Cathedral of the Ozarks in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
According to People, the wedding had nearly 1,000 guests and was officiated by Vuolo’s father Chuck. Duggar’s sister Jessa Seewald was the maid of honor and Vuolo’s brother Charles was best man.
The couple’s relationship was chronicled on the reality TV show "Counting On," the spinoff of "19 Kids and Counting," which was canceled after scandals involving oldest son Josh.
"We are overjoyed to announce that we are now husband and wife," Vuolo said in a video the two made for their fans. "It was surreal when we said: 'I do' ... I think we’re just excited to begin life together. It’s been an incredible journey so far."
Jinger added, "It’s incredible just being at this place where we’ve prayed about this for so long and just longed for the day that we were married, and now God has given us our heart’s desire and our prayer.” The couple also thanked their fans for their support and love.
Keeping with Duggar family tradition, the couple saved their first kiss for the wedding ceremony, which will be shown in a special episode of "Counting On" on Nov. 15.
The couple plans to visit New Zealand and Australia on their honeymoon.
Duggar’s parents made a video to congratulate the couple, with Jim Bob calling the union a “match made in heaven,” according to CNN.
Jinger Duggar is the sixth child of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar and the fourth to marry.
