Jimmy Kimmel: Mean Tweets About Celebs Read Aloud by Said Celebs (Video)

By    |   Friday, 21 November 2014 06:57 PM EST

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Thursday brought back the popular, laugh-out-loud Mean Tweets, where celebrities read the cruel things people say about them online, and it’s already gone viral with more than 1.7 million YouTube views.

Celebrities read some brutal posts that covered everything from their breasts (Lena Dunham) to why they keep making "s— films" (Gerard Butler).

Butler took the critique of his film work in stride, responding to, “Does Gerard Butler have a massive student loan or something? Is that why he does all these s— films?” with a calm, “No, I don’t have student loans. I just do all these s— films.”

Stars came from every genre and generation to read aloud what their anti-fans had to say. Bob Newhart read, “How old is Bob Newhart now, about 120?”

Singer Britney Spears couldn’t stifle a laugh as she read her mean tweet: “I feel like Britney Spears is stalking me. Quit forcing your suckage on me you tired hag.”

Scott Foley had the same problem as he read his: “I hate that Scandal cast Scott Foley. He is tv poison for one thing and he is a f—ing creep with raper face.” The TV star could only say, laughing, “What is raper face?”

This was the eighth edition of celebrities reading mean tweets, and fans seem to think they get funnier all the time.

Others featured on this mean tweets version are Gwyneth Paltrow, Ty Burrell, Geena Davis, Chris Pratt, Chloe Grace Moretz, Michael Chiklis, Ted Danson, John Stamos, Lisa Kudrow, and Adam Sandler.
