Jim Carrey turned his satirical artwork toward Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, posting a cartoon portrait of the billionaire tech owner with the caption "Who are you sharing your life with?" and the hashtag #regulatefacebook.
Carrey's creation on Twitter includes Zuckerberg's reported 2004 quote "They trust me, dumb f***" which, as the Business Insider reported, the then 19-year-old supposedly made to a friend in an instant message exchange.
People magazine said Carrey posted the portrait after The New York Times and U.K.’s The Observer reported that Facebook gave information on 50 million users to a political research group.
The comedian and actor said last month he was spiking his Facebook page and selling his stock in the company because the company "profited from Russian interference in our election," according to People.
Facebook admitted that about 126 million Americans may have been exposed to content generated on its platform by a Russian government-linked troll farm known as the Internet Research Agency between June 2015 and August 2017, CNN reported in November.
