Jessa Duggar, star of "19 Kids and Counting," and her new husband Ben Seewald celebrated their "monthiversary" with a kissing photo on social media Monday.
The couple abstained from kissing until their Nov. 1
wedding day, according to Access Hollywood.
The "monthiversary" posts on Instagram and Facebook show Seewald kissing the cheek of his new wife. The pics received numerous likes and shares.
"Awww! Cutest couple EVER!!!!!!!!!!!" one Facebook user commented.
"Marriage agrees with her . . . her beauty shines!" another posted.
But not everyone shared that enthusiasm.
"So tired of hearing about this family!!!!!" someone else wrote.
Kissing photos became a point of controversy for the famous family recently after Jessa’s parents, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, posted a kissing photo and encouraged fans to do the same. When same-sex couples responded to the post, the Duggars reportedly took theirs down. A Change.org petition was then launched calling on TLC to
cancel the show because of the family's alleged anti-LGBT sentiments.
Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald married Nov. 1 at the First Baptist church in Bentonville, Arkansas, with about
1,000 guests in attendance, Us Weekley reported. They opted against kissing at the altar during the ceremony, but later posted a photo online of them locking lips afterwards.
