Jane Lynch Divorce From Lara Embry Final, Amicable

Jane Lynch's divorce from Lara Embry is now finalized in a process that was amicable, which is not always the case for celebrity couples where big dollar amounts are typically involved.

The "Glee" actress and Embry, a psychologist, married in 2010 but filed for divorce last year, citing “irreconcilable differences.”

TMZ said sources indicate Lynch and Embry have been “civilized” about the process, although an earlier article that said Embry was asking for more money from Lynch showed it could have gone a different way.

That article highlighted Embry’s requests that Lynch continue to keep her in an expensive lifestyle, including spending a monthly average of $6,500 on clothes and $12,000 on entertainment/gifts/vacation, TMZ reported.

Embry apparently asked for $93,000 a month in spousal support, and did not get that, although she got something in the settlement. Lynch will keep the house, which she paid for.

On "Larry King Live," Lynch talked about her divorce from Embry, which had been recently announced. “It’s two people who just decide it’s better to go apart than stay together,” she said. “All’s good. She has a little girl who’s very dear to me. You have to remain adults, which we have. We keep everybody’s, especially Hayden’s, good in our mind. It’s not dramatic. It’s not a horrible thing.”
