Jack Elway, son of Hall of Fame quarterback and Denver Broncos General Manager John Elway, was arrested over the weekend for alleged domestic violence and was charged with assault and disturbing the peace.
Police said John Elway III, who goes by “Jack,” allegedly was in a fight with his girlfriend when he stopped his car and
pulled her out by her hair, the Denver Post reported. The woman reportedly lost some her hair and hair extensions.

The incident between the couple, who the Post said had been dating for a year, occurred about 1:40 a.m. Saturday.
After allegedly pulling the girl out of the car, Elway left the scene and was later arrested at his father’s home in Cherry Hills Village, the Post said.
Elway, 24, was released on $550 bond Saturday and is set to appear in court on June 5. A protection order also was issued.
Deeming the situation a “personal family matter,” a
Broncos spokesman told CBS 4 that the team would not have a comment.
Elway has been in the media spotlight most of his life because of his famous dad, who led the Broncos to two Super Bowl championships and now works as an executive for the team.
“The charges will be dropped. His daddy got fame and fortune. The rich and their children can get away with anything!”
