Ja Rule, the Grammy-nominated rapper famous for collaborations with Jennifer Lopez and Bobby Brown, endorsed Hillary Clinton for president during an interview this week.
"I like Hillary. I like Hillary. But, you know, it’s crazy because . . . I also think Jeb is a good candidate as well," the "Thug Lovin'" hitmaker told host Melissa Francis of Fox Business.
"But, you know, I don’t — I’m a Democrat, so yeah, so I would vote Hillary," he concluded.
Ja Rule was on the show to endorse a new credit card called Magnises, which offers service and social perks to its members for a $250 annual fee, but Francis took the opportunity to ask him about national news items as well.
Before digging into his favorites for 2016, the show host also asked the "Holla Holla" rapper what he thought about the riots in Baltimore — especially since Prince announced he would hold a concert there.
Ja Rule said the situation in Baltimore was unfortunate, but encouraged peaceful protestors to keep marching in the streets,
BET reported.
