Republican presidential contender Herman Cain has given corporate titles to his campaign staff, according to
DailyCaller.com. The lifetime businessman and former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza has not held public office, so it is perhaps fitting that he intends to structure his campaign like a corporation.
Cain’s deputy chief of staff, Linda Hansen, also is known as the executive vice president. The Caller cites an unnamed source who says Cain will be known as the chief executive.
The move could highlight Cain as a Washington outsider, distancing him from career lawmakers. This could bring him favor among tea partyers, the Caller points out.
