Harvey Weinstein was slammed by 23 of his accusers for remarks made during an interview in which he complained about being "the forgotten man" and insisted he "pioneered" the way for women in the entertainment industry.

It was a stunning claim from a man who is facing several accusations, criminal charges, and more for alleged predatory behavior — and worse — toward women.

Many of his outraged accusers hit back Sunday with a statement claiming Weinstein was "trying to gaslight society again," Page Six reported.

"He says in a new interview he doesn't want to be forgotten," the women wrote. "Well, he won't be. He will be remembered as a sexual predator and an unrepentant abuser who took everything and deserves nothing."

The statement went on to say that Weinstein would be remembered by "the collective will of countless women who stood up and said enough."

Weinstein's interview comes ahead of his trial for sex crimes allegedly committed against two women. It also follows reports that the disgraced film mogul who has been charged with sexual harassment and rape reached a $47 million settlement with his accusers after a two-year dispute.

Although the 67-year-old, who is recovering from back surgery, declined to comment on the allegations, he did open up about his career following his fall from grace. Weinstein has maintained his innocence despite all the allegations leveled against him.

"I feel like the forgotten man," Weinstein said. "I made more movies directed by women and about women than any filmmaker, and I'm talking about 30 years ago. I'm not talking about now when it's vogue. I did it first! I pioneered it!"

Then the accusations of rape and sexual assault began to pour in.

"It all got eviscerated because of what happened," he said. "My work has been forgotten."

Weinstein added that he was speaking out to show that he was not using his back injury as an attempt to win sympathy from the trial judge. Last week, he was seen hobbling to court with a walker.

During his appearance, Weinstein heard that his bail would be increased from $1 million to $5 million following allegations that he had violated his bail conditions by mishandling his electronic ankle monitor.

The decision came amid prosecutors' calls to put Weinstein behind bars over the reported violation — a motion that Judge James Burke rejected.
