Hank Azaria will lead a live cast of "Simpsons" characters for a Hollywood Bowl performance special in September to celebrate the animated series' 25th anniversary.
"The Simpsons Take the Bowl" will feature Azaria, who has provided the voice for characters from Moe Szyslak to Apu Nahasapeemapetilon, as well as Nancy Cartwright and Yeardley Smith, who voice Bart and Lisa Simpson. The show will run from
Sept. 12-14, according to Rolling Stone.
"Journey from the Springfield Bowl to the Hollywood Bowl for this unprecedented event, as the orchestra accompanies your
favorite scenes on the big screen," the venue wrote on its website. "Join the celebration of a quarter century of groundbreaking creativity, with plenty of special guests and a fireworks finale."

Special guests include "Simpsons" creator Matt Groening, actors Beverly D'Angelo and Jon Lovitz, and entertainer "Weird Al" Yankovic.
Rolling Stone said the live "Simpsons" Hollywood Bowl show will also feature selected clips from the 25 years the series has run and never-before-seen clips of the show.
"Groening . . . will also perform, giving the audience anecdotes about working on the series as guests like
Weird Al drift on and off stage," The Verge reported. "The live show sounds more like a revival for a long-canceled series than a party for one still on the air. But, then again, 'The Simpsons' has long claimed its place in television history. Maybe it's not too early to celebrate."
Fans expressed their excitement about the event on Twitter.
