Rumors have emerged that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have secretly tied the knot.
The speculation first arose on Friday after Stefani posted a photo of herself drinking wine and holding a present on Instagram. The words “SHE’S GETTING MARRIIIEEEED” appeared at the top of the image.
Then, on Sunday, Page Six published photos of Stefani and Shelton out and about. Stefani was wearing what appeared to be a diamond wedding band next to her engagement ring.
The pair had just returned from Oklahoma, where Shelton owns a ranch where he reportedly built a chapel. A source previously told Page Six that the couple planned to use it for their wedding ceremony, which was "most likely" to take place this year.
Stefani and Shelton first announced their engagement in October 2020 on social media.
"Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020... And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!" Shelton wrote in a tweet that featured a photo of the pair kissing. In the image, Stefani is showing off her engagement ring.
The No Doubt singer-songwriter also took to social media to share the news.
"@blakeshelton yes please!" she captioned the same image on Instagram.
Shelton and Stefani got to know each other while appearing as vocal coaches on the set of "The Voice" in 2014. At the time, they were both married to other people, but both their relationships came to an end in 2015, the same year they began dating.
Shelton was married to his second wife, Miranda Lambert. The former couple announced their divorce in a statement explaining that it was not a future they had envisioned.
"It is with heavy hearts that we move forward separately," they wrote. "We are real people, with real lives, with real families, friends, and colleagues. Therefore, we kindly ask for privacy and compassion concerning this very personal matter."
Meanwhile, Stefani was married to Gavin Rossdale, with whom she shares sons Kingston, Apollo, and Zuma. In 2015, they also announced their split in a statement.
"While the two of us have come to the mutual decision that we will no longer be partners in marriage, we remain partners in parenthood and are committed to jointly raising our three sons in a happy and healthy environment," the couple wrote. "To that end, we respectfully request privacy from the media during this time."
