John Gotti's grandson and former reality show star Carmine Gotti Agnello Jr. was arrested Wednesday in New York for allegedly running an illegal auto scrapyard in Queens, the New York Daily News reported.

Agnello, 32, was released without bail Wednesday after he was arraigned on charges of vehicle dismantling and falsifying business records, the Daily News said. Authorities told the newspaper that Agnello did not have a license to crush cars at his company LSM Auto Parts & Recycling, the newspaper noted.

According to court documents, Angello's company crushed about 400 vehicles from Feb. 14 to April 5 alone, but has not had a license to do that work since December 2016, the New York Post reported.

Agnello applied for a new license June 4, but he withdrew the application a few weeks later, a Department of Motor Vehicles investigator said, according to the Post. The investigator said in court documents that he has seen Agnello working at the yard on numerous occasions this year.

Agnello's mother is Victoria Gotti, the daughter of famed alleged New York mobster John Gotti, the Daily News wrote. His father, Carmine "The Bull" Agnello Sr., served seven years in federal prison for racketeering and tax evasion, the newspaper noted.

Agnello Sr. forfeited $10 million to the government after he was accused of dominating the scrap metal industry in Willets Point by using arson, extortion, and threats to intimidate his competitors, according to the Daily News.

He moved to Cleveland after divorcing Victoria Gotti and was arrested in 2015 and accused of stealing cars and illegally using dirt to weigh them down before selling them for scrap, the newspaper added.

Agnello Jr. appeared in the A&E reality show "Growing Up Gotti" from 2004-2005 that featured him and his family, according to Biography.com. The show centered on Victoria Gotti as she raised her three teenage boys as she balanced her professional career and personal life, the website said.
