Celebrity Chef Serves up $105 Burger

Gordon Ramsay is preparing to open a new restaurant in London but the meals do not come cheap. On the menu are a range of pricey dishes but it is the $105 burger that is causing a sensation, Independent reported.

Made with a beef patty, seared wagyu sirloin, truffle Pecorino cheese, cep mayonnaise, and additional black truffle, the wagyu burger has mouths watering. It also has social media complaining about the price.

"I would never think that a burger can be gourmet food. Hard Pass from me on the price tag," a Twitter user commented.

The burger’s price "is more than I have left for food for the month at the moment. Thanks for that though....." another wrote.

"No thanks! Overpriced, aimed at people who have absolutely no idea about money," a third added.

Also on the menu, patrons can order a $46 lobster and shrimp burger, $28 hotdogs and for an extra $8 you can get a side order of fries. Over in Las Vegas, Ramsay's burger restaurant is much cheaper, with the highest priced burger costing $25.99.

"Gordon Ramsay Burger at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, focuses on traditional burgers, fries and milkshakes, with an extra special touch," the website reads.

"The gourmet beef patties are cooked over an open flame using prime cuts of meat. The milkshakes combine traditional shake ingredients with creamy pudding for an indulgent dessert experience and the drinks menu features an extensive selection of cocktails as well as craft and bottled beers."

Ramsay will open the doors to his latest restaurant, located in Harrods, on Dec. 4. Speaking about its launch, the celebrity chef promised a "burger experience like no other" adding that "we've really elevated our patties using the most incredible mix of the UK's best cuts of meat."
