The Goodyear blimp is a familiar sight at football games and now a handful of lucky sports fans can spend a night in the gondola - and it will cost just $150 via Airbnb.
There are three separate one-night stays available aboard the blimp, from Oct. 22 to 24, but there is a catch, CNN reported. The blimp will not take to the air but will instead remain grounded in an Ohio air hangar located near Goodyear's headquarters.
If you can overlook this minor detail and are fortunate enough to get a reservation, you’ll be in for a treat.
The cozy gondola features is a bed, couch, and tables. Just outside the blimp is an entertainment area that comes complete with a bar and TV and beyond that lies Wingfoot Lake, where guests can make use of a grill and fire pit.
Sweetening the deal are tickets to the Michigan and Notre Dame game on Oct. 26. If that is not enough, Goodyear is also throwing in official team gear and merchandise, the New York Post noted.
The special offer forms part of the 150th anniversary of college football and comes as officials prepare to induct the iconic blimp into the College Football Hall of Fame. Fans have been advised to keep their eyes peeled for opportunities to book as of Oct. 15 on Airbnb.
