A goat wandered into a Starbucks coffee shop in California on Sunday and now pictures of the bearded patron with horns are amusing the Internet.
Named Milly, the 11-year-old pet goat lives two doors down from the Rohnert Park store and had wriggled out of her leash.
After snapping photos of Milly sniffing around the store, Rohnert Park Police Sgt. Rick Bates took her to an animal shelter,
The Associated Press reported.
The police department posted about her on its Facebook page.
Milly apparently preferred chewing on cardboard boxes to the banana which Starbucks employees offered her, the AP said.
Milly’s owners picked her up from the shelter, The
Santa Rosa Press Democrat reported.
“She’s a really happy and sweet goat. She’s also pretty curious,” Alan Ergenbright, 12, one of Milly’s owners told the newspaper. “We’re going to build a fence today so she doesn’t get away again, and so she can walk around freely.”
