A 14-year-old Dutch girl was arrested Monday after she allegedly sent a tweet to American Airlines on Sunday pretending to be a terrorist.
The tweet, sent from the teen's account @Queen Demetriax_, said this to American Airlines before her Twitter account was suspended: "hello my name's Ibrahim and I'm from Afghanistan. I'm part of Al Qaida and on June 1st I'm gonna do something really big bye."

The girl has only been identified as Sarah in media reports.
American Airlines then replied, "Sarah, we take these threats very seriously. Your IP address and details will be forwarded to security and the FBI."
The girl then appeared to freak out and said she was “kidding,” isn’t from Afghanistan, and was “scared,” adding that she hadn’t done anything wrong in her life.
Deadspin posted screen shots of the exchange between Sarah and American Airlines before the girl’s Twitter account was suspended and the airline took down their tweet that had been retweeted more than 7,400 times.
While the teen’s Twitter account may have been suspended, others took to the social media site on Monday to express their opinion on the girl’s tweet:
