Freddie Prinze Jr. Learning to Walk Again After Spinal Surgery: Report

By    |   Monday, 01 December 2014 03:31 PM EST

Freddie Prinze Jr. is "learning to walk" again after a recent spinal surgery, and the "Scooby-Doo" star is taking to Twitter to let fans know he's doing better.

The 38-year-old had some sort of spinal surgery on Nov. 20 and has been posting regular photos of his recovery process on the social networking site, USA Today reported.

It's not clear what kind of surgery Prinze had, but he was spotted in a neck brace over the weekend taking a walk with his wife, actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, and the couple's two children, according to the New York Daily News.

Throughout the process, Prinze has remained in good spirits, referring to himself by a variety of nicknames, including "Robo-Bro," "Brobot," and "Iron Android," and sending philosophical messages of encouragement.

Beyond the surgery, Prinze tweets often, with topics ranging from the NFL and Kobe Bryant to video games.
