Open a new account, get a free AK-47.
That’s the new promotion at MerchantService.com, a Sarasota, Fla.-based company that provides the equipment and processing for businesses to use in credit-card transactions.
Under the promotion, new clients will receive a voucher for an AK-47 worth up to $750, depending on how much credit-card processing volume the client will require, the
Broward-Palm Beach New Times reported.
You can also redeem the voucher for cash, but the company says it would rather new customers take the gun, to protect against robbers.
The promotion is part of the company’s “No Victims” campaign and is featured on
MerchantService’s website under a banner that reads “God, Guns & Guts.”
