Private photos of Emma Watson during a clothes fitting a few years ago have been stolen from her computer and posted online, and the actress is pursuing legal action against the hackers.

The photos were allegedly posted on encrypted dark web sites along with other photos of fellow actress Amanda Seyfried. Watson has brought lawyers in to deal with the intrusion, according to E! News.

“Photos from a clothes fitting Emma had with a stylist a couple of years ago have been stolen,” the star’s rep told E! News. “They are not nude photographs. Lawyers have been instructed and we are not commenting further.”

The Daily Mail reported the photos were from a swimsuit fitting.

The star of the “Harry Potter” movies and the live-action “Beauty and the Beast” remake was previously threatened in 2014 with having nude images leaked after she spoke about gender equality as a UN Ambassador for Women. She later said, “I knew it was a hoax, I knew the pictures didn’t exist,” the BBC reported.

In September 2016, Watson again took legal action after the website Celeb Jihad published other private photos of her, including in a sheer top.

Currently, Watson is facing criticism for partially topless photos that appeared in Vanity Fair.

Twitter seems much more consumed with opinions about Watson’s Vanity Fair shots than these latest stolen photos.
