Eminem blasted President Donald Trump in a rap aired at the BET Awards, setting social media abuzz and whipping up a storm as the reactions rolled in.
The four-minute freestyle rap called "The Storm," which was filmed in a Detroit parking lot and aired at the BET Hip Hop Awards on Tuesday, criticized Trump's reaction to recent NFL protests, his "endorsement of Bannon," "his support for Klansman," and Trump's "extravagant trips back-and-forth with his fam to his golf resorts and his mansions," CBS News noted.
The expletive-filled rap has been trending on social media since it was dropped on Tuesday, drawing appreciation from top athletes as well as recording artists such as Snoop Dogg, J. Cole and T-Pain, Billboard noted.
NBA legend LeBron James weighed in on the matter with a Twitter post about Eminem's comment that racism was the only thing Trump was fantastic for.
Colin Kaepernick, whom Eminem wove into his rap, also gave the video a stamp of approval.
In the rap Eminem states "now if you're a black athlete, you're a spoiled little brat for trying to use your platform and your stature to give those a voice to those to who don't have one," according to CBS.
"He says you're spitting in the face of the vets who fought for us ... Unless you're a POW, whose tortured and battered, to him you're zeroes because he don't like his war heroes captured."
It did not take long for the former 49ers player to respond.
"I appreciate you @Eminem," Kaepernick posted on Twitter.
Jumping on the bandwagon, various celebrities joined in on the chatter.
Others on social media were critical of Eminem.
