Rapper Eminem on Wednesday said he's working on a new album and posted his song "Campaign Speech" on Facebook, revealing his feelings about Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
The eight-minute track mentions Trayvon Martin, Colin Kaepernick, and David Hasselhoff among others, before getting to Trump about halfway through.
"Campaign Speech" makes it clear Eminem is not a Trump supporter and he warns voters "you should be afraid of this dang candidate." He also calls Trump a "loose cannon who's blunt with his hand on the button."
Trump and Eminem have not always been adversaries, Mother Jones noted. Trump appeared with the rapper, who was then known as “Slim Shady,” to promote his 2004 album “Encore” and start a hip-hop channel on Sirius radio.
Eminem held a mock convention for his “Shady Party,” and Trump gave the nominating speech, saying, “I know a winner when I see one, and Donald Trump is telling you right now, Slim Shady is a winner. He’s got brains, he’s got guts, and he’s got Donald Trump’s vote!”
Eminem’s campaign promise was to “throw a party, in a club, with my homies.”
His last solo album, “The Marshall Mathers LP 2,” was released in 2013.
