"Duck Dynasty" star Sadie Robertson and husband Christian Huff are parents and their newborn daughter is already a hit on social media.
The couple welcomed their first child, Honey James Huff, on Tuesday. Robertson announced the news the following day on Instagram.
"we saw a million little miracles yesterday - the best one being this girl right here... Honey," she captioned a photo of herself, Huff, and the latest edition to the "Duck Dynasty" family, all cuddling together in a hospital bed. "the pure goodness of God. story to come, but I’m way too occupied right now by cuteness," she added.
Grandmother Korie Robertson also shared the news on social media.
"The experience of watching your daughter give birth to her daughter...well, there are no words," she captioned an Instagram photo of herself sitting beside Sadie and Huff, cradling the newborn.
"Honey James Huff you are a little miracle! We love you dearly and can’t get enough of every single detail of you. Your mom is absolutely, utterly amazing, and your dad is simply the best coach and encourager ever!" she continued, adding that Honey had "a whole bunch of us that couldn’t be more excited that you’re here," who would be "loving you and rooting you on your entire life."
Korie Robertson also shared another photo of herself beside her husband Willie Robertson, holding Honey.
"Kmama, Dubs and Honey. Yep, we’re in love!!!" she captioned the pic.
Sadie announced that she was pregnant in October. Since then she has been documenting her pregnancy on Instagram and wrote candidly about her experience battling COVID-19 early in her pregnancy, revealing that she had landed in the hospital.
"I’m not going to lie, this has been one of the most challenging things," she wrote. "I got Covid-19 and ended up getting very sick. I know everyone experiences covid differently, but wow these symptoms are wild. I’ve definitely struggled through this one!"
She also opened up to People about her COVID-19 battle.
"The hardest thing was I did get COVID while I was pregnant and I was so sick from that, and so sick still in the morning sickness, so that was a challenge," she said.
"Seriously, my heart goes out to every single pregnant person with COVID and everybody with COVID. They were telling me at the hospital, they were like, 'Man, people have to deliver with it.' I can't even imagine. So that was challenging in and of itself."
