A Donald Trump lookalike surfaced on social media and has gone viral in recent days after the Spanish potato farmer was featured in a local newspaper there.
Dolores Leis Antelo, a Spanish farmer who lives in Galicia in the Cabana de Bergantinos district, was interviewed about farm life for the local La Voz de Galicia newspaper, according to Time magazine.
Freelance journalist Paula Vazquez posted a photo of Antelo posing with a hoe over her shoulder on her Instagram and Facebook pages, not even seeing the resemblance to the U.S. president until commenters began pointing it out and the photo went viral, getting more than 6,500 likes on Instagram.
People began to call Antelo “the cousin that Donald Trump has in Galicia” or “Donald Trump’s Spanish twin sister,” and some even suggested that Trump may have disguised himself as Antelo when he got tired of Washington and wanted to escape, Newsweek reported.
Antelo was largely unaware of the fuss because she doesn’t own a cell phone or spend much time on social media, Newsweek reported. She said she looks at what her daughters show her on their phones but doesn’t really want one herself.
She attributes the buzz to her hair color, Time reported.
“My photo seems to have traveled far. I say it is because of the color of my hair,” she told La Voz de Galicia on Tuesday. “I have never been curious to have [a phone] but I do look at what my daughters show me. They say this picture will make me famous but I don’t get why.”
Antelo is far more concerned with how her crops are faring as the climate becomes drier and whether common pests will ruin the potato yield, Newsweek reported. “At the moment, luckily we don’t have ... the Guatemalan moth,” she said.
