CNN anchor Don Lemon did the robot with an actual robot on Wednesday, and the two became real pals.
As The Huffington Post reported, Lemon's opportunity to horse around with a humanoid came when documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock of "Super Size Me" fame stopped by the studio after he visited the annual Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
At the annual gathering of geeks and gearheads, Spurlock was introduced to Meccanoid, a "personal robot friend" that uses "voice recognition to say thousands of phrases, tell jokes, offer fun facts, play games and interact with you, initiate conversations, and even remember your birthday."
He decided to bring Meccanoid back to the CNN studios in New York, and that's when Lemon discovered that the robot could also high-five, go for a hand-in-hand walk, and — best of all — throw a dance party.
As the dance party began on set, Meccanoid announced that his favorite music is hip hop, of course, and he and Lemon started rockin'.
After the segment, the two took a selfie for all the kids on Twitter, naturally.
