A fire broke out at Disneyland in Southern California on Saturday night, and was quickly extinguished by firefighters before anyone was hurt.
NBC Los Angeles reported that fire department received a call about the fire around 9:20 p.m., and had it extinguished before 10 p.m.
Theme park spokeswoman Suzi Brown told reporters that the flames shot up in a backstage area behind the "It's a Small World" attraction, and did not affect the building's interior. No injuries resulted from the small inferno.
"Yo, Small World's — Small World's on fire, yo," said one Instagram user who captured a video of the nighttime blaze. "There's people on that ride right now, too," he added.
Brown said that the fire was likely caused by the park's regular fireworks display, which took place earlier than usual for fear of being rained out.
Nearby guests in line for Mr. Toad's Wild Ride were asked to clear the area as firefighters arrived on the scene.
