Hollywood mogul David Guillod has been arrested on charges of sexual assault. Police nabbed the producer of "Atomic Blonde" and "Extraction" on Wednesday at his home in Sherman Oaks after charges he sexually assaulted a woman during an "evening meeting" on Oct. 12 were filed, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
Guillod was out on bail at the time of his arrest on charges of drugging, kidnapping, and raping four women between 2012 and 2015 in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles counties, New York Post reported. Among his accusers is actress Jessica Barth, who claimed Guillod raped her in 2012.
In an open letter to The Wrap, Barth stated that the incident took place after a dinner with the then-unnamed Guillod. She recalled drinking wine and then blacking out.
"The next thing I remember is waking up at home with six hickeys on my neck," she wrote.
"I was horrified. I was completely and utterly confused and I was sick to my stomach. Through email, he tried to play it off as a silly make-out session between friends. He sent me message after message begging that we talk and letting me know how upset he was and that he couldn’t sleep because of the pit in his stomach."
Barth said she felt "devastated, humiliated, and completely violated."
"I felt this way because he was the one who devastated me, he humiliated me, he violated me," she added.
Guillod surrendered to authorities in June and was charged with 11 felony counts which include rape, kidnap for rape, and rape of a drugged victim. If convicted, he faces up to 21 years in prison.
