Rock icon David Crosby says he and his former bandmates in Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young don't get along with each other anymore, but they like President Donald Trump even less, so if he's re-elected in 2020, that might be enough to get his old bandmates together on stage again.

"Yes, it might, but we don't get along, and we haven't gotten along for a while," Crosby told The Hollywood Reporter about himself and fellow songwriters Stephen Stills, Graham Nash, and Neil Young. "They're all mad at me. But they all dislike Donald Trump very much, the same way I do. We dislike him intensely because he's a spoiled child who can't do his job. So a reunion is possible. We don't like each other, but we like Trump a whole lot less."

Crosby has written a song for the independent film "Little Pink House" because of its focus on the Susette Kelo Supreme Court decision on eminent domain, which he considers an important political issue while President Donald Trump is in office.

"With eminent domain, where they take away your property, there's usually people being paid under the table," the rock icon told The Hollywood Reporter. "They took this woman's home away from her. It was brutal, underhanded and completely wrong, and everybody knew it. She fought it all the way to the Supreme Court and won. It was a tough tale to look at. It was a moving thing."

Trump, meanwhile, has said he supports eminent domain, which makes him a "wretched person" in Crosby's eyes.

"He has used it," said Crosby. "What a wretched person. The worst kind of landlord, and a racist. He's done a lot of really bad stuff."

Crosby said there is a "whole variety of reasons" why his bandmates don't like him, but meanwhile he doesn't want Trump supporters to attend his own solo concerts, and he doesn't need them there.

If Trump supporters did go to a Crosby concert, they most likely wouldn't like what he had to say.

"I don't just bash him; I take him apart and hang him up by his thumbs," said Crosby. "I really, really, dislike the guy. But at my concerts I come down pretty hard on most politicians. I have a very low opinion of politicians."

That includes some liberal politicians, said Crosby. He added that he supported Vermont Independent Sen. Bernie Sanders in the 2016 race and wants Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren to become the next president.

Meanwhile, he said conservatives like to criticize liberal entertainers like himself who include politics in their acts because they are frustrated their side has no entertainers "at all."

"They've got that one right-wing guy who is so terrible, but I can't think of his name," said Crosby. "All of us think that they're idiots, and that frustrates the hell out of them."

And when asked if meant Ted Nugent, Crosby replied "that's the guy! How embarrassing is it to have that be your guy?"
