Daniel Craig will reportedly return to the role of James Bond for the next film installment, and Adele may even sing the theme song again.

The Craig/Adele combination in 2012’s "Skyfall" was the most profitable Bond film of all time, earning $1.1 billion worldwide. The British singer’s theme song for Skyfall won awards at the Brit Awards, the Grammys, and the Golden Globes.

A source told the Daily Mirror, “It’s taken time but Daniel has come 'round and the strong consensus in the Bond offices is that Mr. Craig is 007 again.”

James Bond franchise producer Barbara Broccoli plans for “Bond25” to start filming next year, the website said.

Craig has reportedly been offered more than $154 million for two more Bond films. The 49-year-old actor said in 2015 that he would "rather slash (his) wrists" than reprise his role as Bond.

Other actors in rumored for the role included Tom Hardy, Tom Hiddleston, and Hugh Jackman.

Craig also played Bond in 2015’s “Spectre,” which didn’t reach the heights of “Skyfall,” earning only $880 million worldwide.

There is no release date for “Bond25” at this time.

Twitter had some praise for Craig, but said he had probably only returned to the role because of the money.
