The U.S. curling team's gold medal was not good enough for them to get an upgrade on their Delta Airlines flight from South Korea back to the United States after the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics, according to Yahoo Sports.
The history-making curling team stunned three-time Olympic gold medalist Canada twice, and then beat No. 1-ranked Sweden for the country's first Olympic gold in the sport, according to SB Nation and NBC Sports.
John Shuster, Tyler George, Matt Hamilton, John Landsteiner, and Joe Polo made up the squad that brought home gold medals.
That prompted the curling team to use its Twitter account to ask Delta for an upgrade on the newly crowned world curling champions, Yahoo Sports reported.
While congratulating the team, Delta said on Twitter that it could not fulfill the request.
USA Curling appeared to be good sports about it.
Some on social media, though, wanted the airline to make it happen.
