An old "Rocky" foe and villain comes into play in the upcoming "Creed II" to make matters even more intense for Rocky Balboa's protégé, it was revealed in the movie’s first trailer from MGM and Warner Bros.

Michael B. Jordan reprises his role as Adonis Creed and Sylvester Stallone returns as Rocky. This time, the young Creed will face the son of Ivan Drago, who beat to death his father, Apollo Creed, in "Rocky IV." Rocky later defeats Drago, played by Dolph Lundgren.

It’s been 33 years since the first Creed-Drago competition in "Rocky IV."

"You’ve got everything to lose," Stallone’s character tells Jordan’s Creed about his bout with Viktor Drago. "This guy has nothing to lose. This guy — he's dangerous."

When Creed responds he doesn't have a choice in the matter, Rocky tells him, "That's the same thing your father said and he died right here in my hands."

Stallone wrote the screenplay for the sequel to 2015’s "Creed" and it is directed by Steven Caple Jr. "Creed" scored more than $170 million worldwide as a continuation of the "Rocky" saga.

"Creed II" is scheduled to open Nov. 21 and also features Phylicia Rashad, Woody Harris, Tessa Thompson, and Andre Ward.
