Former reality TV star Courtney Stodden, who came out as non-binary earlier this year, claims that Chrissy Teigen once told them to kill themselves.

The 26-year-old spoke about the cyberbullying, as well as mistreatment from celebrities, in an interview with The Daily Beast published Monday.

"She wouldn't just publicly tweet about wanting me to take 'a dirt nap' but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself," Stodden, who goes by the "they/them" pronouns, said. "Things like, 'I can't wait for you to die.'"

In March, TMZ shared a video in which Stodden said they had been harassed and bullied by Teigen when they were a teenager. Stodden drew widespread attention at age 16, when they married 50-year-old "Green Mile" actor Doug Hutchison. The pair finalized their divorce in 2020. Upon announcing the news on social media, Stodden said they had been "verbally abused" and "taken advantage of" during the course of the couple's nine-year marriage.

In the video, Stodden relays needing help at the time, but instead of being supportive, Teigen sent "multiple tweets." In screengrabs of the tweets sent to Stodden, and revealed by TMZ, Teigen writes, "I hate you," "my Friday fantasy: you. Dirt nap" and "go. To sleep. forever."

Teigen is not the only alleged celebrity to verbally attack Stodden. In their interview, Stodden said several other notable names had also targeted them with abusive language.

"Joy Behar had a field day with calling me a 'slut,'" they said. "Courtney Love told me I was a 'whore.' … Some of the worst treatment I got was from women, and we're not going to get anywhere if we keep holding each other back."

Interestingly, Stodden said Perez Hilton was the only one to apologize.

"One of the biggest surprises is that all of the celebrities who shamed me … they have not sought to apologize or sent any kind of love my way," they said. "The majority of love and apologies have come from reporters and also people online who tell me that they appreciate me and love me and that I'm a source of strength for them. And that means everything to me."

In a now-deleted Instagram post earlier this year, Stodden spoke at length about their marriage with Hutchison and how they had been taken advantage of.

"I've been scared to even speak up about feeling groomed or being verbally abused during the almost 10 year marriage because I was a child and he was 50 when we married but I'm a woman now and it's time for me to put my big girl pants on and speak on this matter," they wrote.

Stodden went on to say how they felt "completely trapped," "manipulated," and "abandoned" by the adults in their life. Their environment became a "lonely and dark place."

They finished their post by telling Hutchison that they would always love him but they would always harbor feelings of anger toward him for leaving them feeling "belittled and confused" as a teenager.

"These things I shall overcome. I wish you well. But please don't ever do this to another minor again. It's not right, even if the parent signs off," Stodden continued. "Wait a respectable amount of time before marrying. Children aren't on your level. I'll always love you regardless. Be better. As shall I."
