The corpse of a young Japanese nurse was found in a storage locker in Hachioji, west of Tokyo, on May 21 after having been shipped there in a box labeled "doll."
According to NBC News, a different woman of Japanese-Brazilian decent was detained in Shanghai Tuesday after allegedly using the dead woman's passport to enter the country. Japanese authorities expect her extradition this week.
The body of Rika Okada, 29, was found with multiple stab wounds and no defensive wounds nearly two months after she went missing. She was last seen at work on March 21, and her body was then shipped from Osaka — nearly 250 miles away — to the storage facility on March 24.

The South China Morning Post reported that both the shipping fees and storage locker were paid for with the young victim’s credit card.
Before her disappearance, Okada updated her Facebook status, saying that she was going to meet an old friend she had not seen in a decade.
The suspected schoolmate had reportedly been living with a Chinese woman not far from the storage unit in Japan, and both women were on the flight from Tokyo's Haneda airport to Shanghai.
