Corey Harrison of "Pawn Stars" has shed 192 pounds in an effort to be healthier.
Harrison, 31, told People magazine that when he doctor put him on diabetes medication in 2010, he literally drove himself straight to a lap band center to get surgery.

"Back then, the surgery was too expensive for my bank account, so I had to pay with four credit cards, but it was something I had to do — I was not going to get diabetes!" he said.
At his heaviest, Harrison said he weighed 402 pounds. Now, after being able to box 12 rounds a day, five times a week, the reality star said he weighs 210 pounds and looks forward to working out.
"When I was a teenager I loved snowboarding, but in my 20s I was too big to strap my feet in the boards,” Harrison told People. “Being able to finally touch my toes made me realize I could snowboard again, so I went out and got new gear immediately."
"I could never go back to weighing as much as I did," Harrison said, adding that he lost 50 pounds in the first six weeks after surgery and 100 pounds in the first year. "It made me realize what I ate, how I ate and what I did to myself. It was a WOW moment."
Harrison’s weight loss also inspired fellow "Pawn Star" Austin "Chumlee" Russell to lose a significant amount of weight as well.
"It was time for me to get healthy," Russell told People. "I started at 320 pounds and now I'm down to 225. When I first began, I eliminated all processed foods except mustard. Now, 'everything in moderation' is my motto."
“Pawn Stars” began on the History Channel in 2009 and shows the daily happenings of the people who work and shop at the World Famous Gold and Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas, Nevada. The shop opened in 1989 and is a family business run by Corey Harrison’s grandfather, Richard “Old Man” Harrison.
