Conservative Group Makes Ad Buy in Indiana Senate Race

By    |   Friday, 09 March 2018 12:23 PM EST

A conservative group has made an ad buy in the Indiana Senate race, supporting Luke Messer's campaign.

The American Economic Freedom Alliance (AEFA) pumped $360,000 into broadcast and cable television across Indiana in support of Messer's efforts and recently released an advertisement in favor of the conservative.

The clip briefly mentions Trump's tax reform plan, and how it is getting the U.S. "back on track" but notes how there is "still more to be done."

The ad then goes on to address topics of illegal immigrants receiving tax credits, which it states is "unfair to hardworking hoosiers."

The video clip ends by stating that Messer has a plan to resolve the situation.

This is in line with Messer's campaign, which he said is about "Hoosiers, about fixing the U.S. Senate and getting something done to fulfill the promises politicians have made and failed to deliver," according to his website.

AEFA announced its plans to be heavily involved in the Indiana Senate primary, and supporting Messer's campaign forms part of an initial investment in advance of May's primary election.

Hoosiers for Conservative Values, the Super PAC that is supporting Messer's campaign, will begin advertising as well.
