Guess what day it is? Students at a Connecticut elementary school better not answer that question with the response "Hump Day."
Teachers at Vernon Center Middle School have banned kids from imitating the popular Geico commercial, which features a talking camel strolling around an office on a Wednesday asking workers what day it is.

The teachers say the kids have been imitating the commercial an irritating amount, and not just on Wednesdays.
"Sometimes it's the counting down to when it is," Brooke Lewis, a student at the school
told WFSB.com.
The Geico "Hump Day" commercial has received more than 15.5 million views on YouTube, and has achieved cult status for a company that has produced many memorable commercials. The term "Hump Day" has long been used as a slang term for Wednesday, passing the middle of the five-day week at work or school.
Many parents can relate, as they likely uttered the popular commercial phrases, "Whassup," "Where's the Beef?" or "I've fallen and I can't get up" to excess in decades past.
