Two CNN producers were arrested earlier in the week after trying to trespass four different times at the WTC in downtown Manhattan. They were released without bail on Wednesday.
Connor Boals, 26, and Yon Pomrenze, 35, were arrested shortly after 2 p.m. Tuesday after reportedly trying to gain access to Ground Zero several times
over the course of the afternoon, the New York Post reported.

Prosecutors said the pair first tried to get through Gate 1 at Vesey and Washington streets but a Port Authority cop stopped them.
"If a 16-year-old got in there, why can’t I get in there?" Boals allegedly asked the officer, referring to the security breach by an adventurous teen earlier this month.
"I asked the defendants what they were doing, and defendant Boals stated in substance to me, 'I'm trying to get into the site. If that kid got in, I want to get in too,'" Port Authority officer Aravinda Jayawardana said, according to the criminal complaint.
The CNN producers, who were reportedly not asked by the network to sneak onto the property, then attempted to scale a fence and break through a gate, all the while filming themselves with a video camera and tripod.
They were eventually arrested and charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing, the Post noted.
The incident comes a week after
16-year-old Justin Casquejo was arrested for scaling the Freedom Tower and a day after three men were
charged with parachuting from the building back in September.
