Hillary Clinton cozied up to Caitlyn Jenner and her posse for a shared online-bound photo in some adroit timing while the transgender reality star uses her new-found political voice to make waves in the Republican presidential race and to bash the Democratic frontrunner.
On Monday, Jenner tweeted the photo, in which she and Clinton appear alongside other transgender women, actress Candis Cayne and artist Zackary Drucker.
In a teaser for her reality show "I Am Cait" that made the Internet rounds on Friday, Jenner said she would never vote for Clinton who she called her a liar and political hack.
"We're done, if Hillary becomes president, the country is over," Jenner said.
Jenner, who has said Donald Trump would be good on women’s issues and that she would like to be transgender ambassador for Ted Cruz, didn’t elaborate on the meeting with Clinton. She shared the photo with the hashtags #learningfrommygirls and #willingtolisten, the
New York Daily News noted.
USA Today took the shared photo as evidence of a shift in Jenner’s political support.
Twitter users had mixed reactions.
