By    |   Sunday, 26 June 2011 09:43 AM EDT

Chris Christie, New Jersey, schoolNew Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is defending his fight with a constituent who attacked his plan to cut public school funding and reiterated that it is nobody’s business where his children attend school, Politico reports.

"You know what? I am very blunt, I am very direct," Christie said today on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”

Christie recently chastised a constituent, saying “it’s none of your business” when she asked at a forum whether it was fair to cut public education funding, while sending his children to private schools.
