Anti-virus software maker McAfee has crowned Cheryl Cole as the most dangerous celebrity search on the Internet in the United Kingdom.

Internet users who search for the British pop star have a 15 percent chance of being directed to a malicious website, the International Business Times reported.

Those seeking information or downloads related to “The X Factor” judge, who recently married and changed her name to Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, are at risk of being tricked into downloading viruses or malware.

The Top 10 most dangerous U.K. celebrity searches also include musicians Jessie J, Alesha Dixon, Ellie Goulding, Pixie Lott, Harry Styles, Lily Allen, and Rita Ora, actor Daniel Radcliffe, and retired soccer star David Beckham, The Guardian reported.

“Most consumers do not realize the security risks they are exposing themselves to when searching for celebrity videos and images online. But cybercriminals can exploit this desire for breaking celebrity news, leading consumers to sites that download harmful malware onto their devices and compromise personal data,” McAfee Labs’ product manager Samantha Humphries-Swift said, according to The Guardian.

Talk show host Jimmy Kimmel was the most dangerous celebrity search in the United States, with a 19 percent chance of being directed to a malicious website, The Associated Press reported. Other dangerous celebrity searches include Ciara, Flo Rida, Bruce Springsteen, Chelsea Handler and Christina Aguilera.

“Who would have guessed that a boy who used to carry a briefcase in junior high and played the clarinet would end up being the most dangerous person of 2014? You see that, nerds? Anything is possible," Kimmel joked during Tuesday’s "Jimmy Kimmel Live" Show.
