A Chinese Casanova was exposed recently when 17 of his girlfriends showed up at the hospital to visit him after he was involved in a car accident.
Hospital staff contacted “relatives” of the man, identified only by his surname Yuan, and 17 women showed up, including one who had a
child with him, the South China Morning Post reported.
"I was really worried when I heard that he was in hospital. But when I started seeing more and more beautiful girls show up, I couldn't cry any more," one girlfriend told local newspaper, Xiaoxiang Chen Bao.
She has since learned that some of Yuan’s girlfriends provided monthly financial support, including one who supported him for nine years.
Yuan, who is also accused of cheating his ex-wife out of $40,000, now faces
criminal fraud charges, The Telegraph reported.
The women range in age from 20 to 40.
Yuan also allegedly lied to his employer when he falsified a degree in in civil engineering to get a job.
