The latest episode of James Corden’s "Carpool Karaoke" with Adam Levine was interrupted when a police officer briefly pulled the car over so they could sing a song.

In the "Carpool Karaoke" that aired Thursday on "The Late Late Show With James Corden,", Corden and his guest, Maroon 5 singer Levine, were in the midst of a song when they heard the sound of a police siren behind them.

As the police came alongside Corden’s vehicle, instead of pulling over he rolled down his window and asked, “Hello, sir?”

“I’m gonna pull you over so you can sing a song for me," the officer shouted in return.

Corden and Levine laughed and Corden asked, "You want us to pull over so he can sing a song for you?"

That’s when the cop revealed what the real problem was.

“Yes, because you caused a traffic hazard,” the cop replied.

It didn't appear the two stars were actually reprimanded in any way before the officer drove off.

“I don't know what quite happened there, I completely panicked," Corden told Levine after the encounter. "I panicked in my absolute core."
