Busch Beer is offering your dog the opportunity of a lifetime.

The company is looking for a pooch to join its Senior Leadership Team as a Chief Tasting Officer and the job pays well. The dog selected for the full-time position will be paid a $20,000 salary and will receive benefits that include pet health care coverage.

"The reaction to Busch Dog Brew’s release last year was so overwhelmingly positive that we knew we had a big challenge in Year 2 to keep the momentum going. So to expand the brand this year, we needed a true expert in the space on our team," said Daniel Blake, vice president of value brands at Anheuser-Busch, in a news release.

"We’re excited to give one qualified canine a real, paying job and to tap into their insider knowledge of our target consumer to expand Busch Dog Brew in 2021!"

The vacancy follows the success of Busch's alcohol-free, bone broth brew made for dogs. The beer was so successful that the first batch sold out within 24 hours, the company said.

As CTO, your dog's responsibilities will include "taste-testing, quality control, and fulfilling duties as an ambassador for the product and a featured content creator on Busch’s social channels," the news release read. "In order to fetch this position, some qualifications include a refined palate, an outstanding sense of smell, and while not required, proficiency in English would be remarkable," the company further joked.

To apply for the job, pet owners are required to post a picture of their dog on social media along with their qualifications and #BuschCTOcontest. The contest is open to residents of all 50 U.S. states and will close on April 28, 2021.

This is just one more sign that it is becoming a dog’s world. Canines can now also enjoy the benefits of CBD through Martha Stewart's line of CBD-infused dog treats, which she launched earlier this year and which include CBD oil as well as soft-baked chews. The products help to reduce stress and maintain joint health while also helping with mental and physical well-being, Stewart said.

"My dogs are not only my companions, but they are part of my family, and I prioritize their emotional and physical well-being as I do my own," Stewart said in a statement to the New York Post. "Just as CBD can support human wellness, it’s been shown to improve the quality of life for pets as well," she added.
