A Buffalo Bills fan in a Sammy Watkins jersey set himself on fire during a pre-game tailgate Sunday when he jumped onto a burning table.
A Snapchat video captured the happening, and it was then posted on other social media sites where it went viral.
When the fan stood up after breaking the burning table, the back of his jersey was on fire, so he got back on the cup-littered ground to “stop, drop, and roll” until the flames were extinguished.
A fan standing nearby even poured a bit of beer on the fire to help get it out. Luckily, the fire did go out and the man appears to escape unharmed.
More than 100 calls came in to emergency services from the tailgate and game on Sunday, according to the Buffalo News, and nine people were arrested for selling counterfeit NFL merchandise after the game, which the Bills won 30-27 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Twitter was full of raucous jokes about the Bills fan who was briefly on fire.
