Gerry Lester "Bubba" Watson celebrated at Waffle House this weekend after walking off with his second prestigious Masters green jacket.
Watson tweeted a selfie, with his wife tucked into a lower right-hand corner and a friend laughing across the table, with the tag, “Champ dinner @WaffleHouse! #hashbrowns #covered.”

CBS Sports named it “the most Bubba place ever to celebrate,” while people online gave him a shout-out for that decision.
Even before the Waffle House celebration,
ESPN took a look at the appeal of Watson and what some might call his unusual golfing behavior.
ESPN gave the example of Watson trying to “knock a golf ball through a hole in a tree, over the water and onto the green on the par-5 15th in two, with a 3-shot lead, on a Masters Sunday, against all sense, reason and logic?”
"We were shocked," Michael Greller, Jordan Spieth’s caddy, told ESPN. “We were watching him over there and we're both like, 'What in the WORLD is Bubba doing?'"
Watson ended up with a 5 on the hole, staying out of the water, when ESPN pointed out, he could have had an easy 7.
"You know me," Bubba told ESPN, and his caddy added, “Freak show.”
