Brigitte Nielsen has revealed that she once slapped Madonna across the face for stepping on her feet in a nightclub. The 56-year-old actress spoke about the encounter on Monday when she appeared as a guest co-host on "The Talk."
It all went down in 1987. According to Nielsen, the Queen of Pop kept stepping on her feet. She also allegedly had a bit of an attitude.
"She was very rude and I ended up giving her a slap across the face," Neilsen said. "I remember just six big guys, they picked me up and I was out of the club."
The confession left audiences stunned but that was not even "the best part of the story." Neilsen claimed that a few months later, she was in the South of France and decided it was time to get Madonna back for "being rude" — so she had a "one-night stand with Sean Penn," who had been Madonna's husband for part of the 1980s.
Nielsen's beef with Madonna was fueled by the iconic pop star's concert during which she left fans waiting for two hours before taking to the stage on Friday. When Madonna did eventually make an appearance, she told her audience they needed to understand that "a queen is never late," Daily Mail reported.
Nielsen's response was simple. Madonna is "not the queen."
