Brandon Goode, 18, and Alexandria Hollinghurst, 17, have been identified as the Florida teen couple who allegedly shot and killed a police officer and then killed themselves.
The two were found dead just a block away from where
Robert German, 31, was shot in Windermere, Fla., the New York Daily News said. Apparently German, a Windermere police officer, called for backup and approached the couple about 3:30 a.m. Saturday because of suspicious behavior while Goode and Hollinghurst were out walking.

After allegedly shooting German, it appears Goode and Hollinghurst committed suicide together.
Hollinghurst’s family believes she was killed by Goode, Britain's Mirror reported. The newspaper said Goode had been arrested on alcohol and drug charges, as well as previously being held on aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges.
WFTV confirmed that Goode’s mother had called the police in the past and said he was threatening her with an axe.
Friends of Goode and Hollinghurst told WFTV that both did well in school and were smart kids. They attended Ridge Community High School.
Hollinghurst moved from Britain to the United States in 2008 with her parents, Tom and Jane Hollinghurst, and younger sister Hannah. A former teacher in Britain described the girl as bright and popular.
“Alex was a talented pupil here, and very popular as well,”
Andrew Cartledge, headteacher at St. Andrew's Primary in Hadfield, told Sky News. “She had an outgoing personality that made the place come alive when she was around. She was a delightful pupil. There were no problems with her. She was an outstanding and talented girl. What we've heard today doesn't tie in with the pupil we knew.”
German was the first police officer ever killed in Windermere in the line of duty, the Daily News said. A public funeral honoring his life will be held Thursday.
