The bodies of a man and two children were found Tuesday morning inside a Fort Hood, Texas, residence on the base, officials said.
The Army said it will release no other information until the next of kin could be notified, but did say the victims were related to a soldier, although it was not clear if they are all related to each other.

"We do not believe there is any further threat to the community at this time," Chris Grey, spokesman for the criminal investigation command,
said in a statement reported by My San Antonio.
The military post has seen its share of violence over the years. In 2009, Army psychiatrist Nidal Hasan killed 13 people and wounded more than 30 in a shooting rampage there. He was sentenced to death in August, though no execution date had been set.
