Former “Price is Right” host Bob Barker was briefly hospitalized last week after a fall at his home in California in which he hit his head.
According to TMZ, 93-year-old Barker fell in his bathroom and a housekeeper took him to the emergency room after he called 911 but didn't want to ride in the ambulance.
Barker was shaken up, TMZ said, but did not have cuts or visible injuries. He was released from the hospital after a few hours.
Barker has suffered from various health issues in recent years including strokes in 1991 and 2002 and several mild cases of skin cancer. He suffered a more serious fall in 2015 that injured his knee and required stiches in his forehead.
The “Price is Right” host retired from the show in 2007 after 35 years of hosting. Barker won 19 Emmys during his career, including 14 for outstanding game show host.
Twitter users were generally relieved that Barker is OK.
